Huma Farooq is a dedicated Computer Science student at Beaconhouse National University and a researcher in the AI Lab. With a strong foundation in this field since her A-levels, she has developed a keen interest in machine learning and its real-world applications. She is currently working on the project "Affected Schools and Hospitals: Improving Infrastructure Resilience," using Earth Observation technologies, Google Earth Engine, and QGIS to enhance the resilience of these facilities to environmental impacts. This project highlights her technical skills and commitment to using AI for societal benefit. Huma aims to pursue a graduate degree and continue her research in AI, focusing on developing solutions that improve critical infrastructure. Her innovative mindset and passion for AI make her a promising young researcher in the field.
